As a member of the Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC), I had the privilege of attending the Paralegal In-House Training Program held from July 17 to August 14, 2024. This comprehensive training equipped us with essential skills and knowledge to support access to justice initiatives in our communities. We delved into various topics, including the principles of justice and rule of law, the crucial role of paralegals, and dispute resolution mechanisms in Myanmar. 

Interactive sessions on case management and essential paralegal skills, along with thematic discussions on human rights, gender-based violence, land rights, human trafficking, and child rights, have significantly enhanced our capacity to advocate for justice. This program not only bridged the gap between our communities and the formal justice system but also fostered a strong network of skilled paralegals dedicated to upholding the rule of law in Myanmar.
