On December 10, 2023, a digital security training was conducted by the Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC) for 19 individuals, including 6 females, 7 males, and 6 participants from various sectors such as human rights, women’s rights, and CDM. The training aimed to equip attendees with crucial knowledge and skills to safeguard their digital presence. Participants engaged in robust discussions on topics like social media privacy, encryption, passwords, and online threats, expressing intent to share their learnings with their communities. 

The inclusive training, with a gender ratio of 28.6% females, 33.3% males, and 38.1% unspecified, emphasized the need for diverse perspectives in addressing digital threats. The training’s outputs included immediate enhancement of digital security literacy and the potential for long-term community impact through shared knowledge. Ongoing technical assistance and participant evaluations will ensure the program’s sustainability, reinforcing the adoption of protective measures. The eagerness of participants highlighted the training’s success in fostering secure digital practices and empowering activists to navigate the digital landscape safely.
